Principles of Promotion in Search Rankings
For this topic, we will divide all activities carried out over the site into 2 groups:
- Internal content
- External optimization
Each group has its own postulate, not observance of which threatens at least a slow growth in the search ranking, but as a maximum a decrease in positions or the imposition of sanctions. Read more in the article "Look at your site through the eyes of a robot".
Internal work with the web portal
This category includes: writing and publishing articles, posting photos and videos, writing titles "title", "H1" and descriptions "Description".
All of the above should be strictly "Unique", i.e. do not repeat or be copied from your site, and even more so from another resource. If some text or photo has already been posted somewhere, then it is strictly forbidden to upload such material to your site. This also applies to internal repetition, which is why the title / content of one article should not be absolutely equal to the information provided on another page.
Why so strict? The answer is quite simple, this is the global idea of the Internet. Each site, text and photo should give people something new, something that has not been previously posted on the Internet. Or give in a new form of presentation, told in other words, photographed from a different angle. Copying the same thing is not necessary to anyone and is equated to plagiarism, violating the copyright of the one who posted the information first.
External Events
In this category, we will classify the discussion of your resource in social networks and on other sites. More specifically, this can be expressed in the number of publications and social subscribers. networks and the number of donors and links leading to your site. In this direction, the most important is not absolute numbers, but "Natural and smooth growth".
Let's give an example: the site is 2 years old, the article was written in the same way 2 years ago, during this time there was not a single link "from outside" and suddenly 100 authoritative resources referred to this article in one day. A question for donors: why haven't you all seen the material for 2 years, and then saw everything at once? The answer is obvious: there was a purchase of paid links. Which is formally prohibited from the point of view of search engines and may negatively affect the ranking. More on Google
Second example: you have Facebook on your site, in which there are 10 publications and 15 subscribers, and this number does not change for many months, and within a week it becomes 20,000 subscribers, with the same 10 publications. How could this happen? Again, the answer lies on the surface, it is cheating. Most likely, a search engine that has already linked that Facebook to your site will perceive such a markup as an attempt to deceive both itself and site visitors.
Conclusions.
- Publish only unique content. All headings should be different. Avoid multiple internal links to the same material.
- If you want to increase subscribers with the help of markups, do it as gradually as possible, and in parallel with the placement of new publications, as in social. network and website.
- For sites that do not have donor links: before buying them, collect the maximum number of non-paid ones (directories, catalogs, thematic forums, advertisements on marketplaces, etc.). This process will look quite natural and fluid. In parallel, write new articles and update old ones. Post many unique photos. And only after that, buy links in small portions and only for new content. This will be the logic, published something new, this new someone noticed and referred to.
- Don't buy links to an empty (not full of content) site. Linking to a site consisting of 5 articles, 3 paragraphs each and 20 photos is extremely illogical.
